I am Jennifer Gannon, a pet groomer since 2002. I am a National Certified Master Groomer with a the National Dog Groomers Association. I have extensive knowledge of all breeds and breed clips. I attend continued education seminars in order to keep up with the latest products and trends. Skin and Coat Care is crucial, and Dog Grooming is my passion.
Gannon Grooming first opened a salon in Franktown, Co in 2004. Later that salon was moved to Stroh Ranch in Parker and was known as K9 Salon & Market. That salon was sold in 2016.
I do all of the work myself. That’s how I got started many years ago. As the business grew, I eventually had a large salon and retail store with plenty of staff. I sold that salon in 2016 and took time for family.
Now, I have gone back to my roots, as a solo Groomer in a quiet salon
Although there are other people in the salon that I rent space in, they do not work for or with me at Gannon Grooming.
I chose to spend one-on-one time with each pet. I take my time bathing them, letting the premium quality grooming products work their magic. I work extra shampoo into the feet, faces and fanny. They are each finished with a conditioner, and I rinse faces with special care, to avoid getting water in the nose.
I clean ears while they are in they tub and I make sure to get the hair around the ears nice and clean for a soft, fluffy finish.
I take the time to fluff dry all of the dogs that come to see me. I have dryers with different options, such as warm air and adjustable velocities. That means I can adjust the drying process to cater to each pet, based on coat type, as well as the pets temperament and tolerance level.
Cage dryers are sometimes used for finishing the face, or for finishing pets that don‘t tolerate the other dryers.
For the pets that need a little extra comfort, I have Happie Hoodies for them to wear to muffle the dryer noise, as well as harnesses to help keep them securely on the table.
My bathing and drying process, as well as premium quality products and equipment, create an amazing coat to work with.
My 16 years of grooming experience, as well as my skills and knowledge of each coat type, allow me to achieve a beautifully finished groom.
I love caring for pets! Contact me to make a dog grooming appointment with your soon to be, favorite Pet Groomer! If you have a question, you can also send me a message with a little info about your dog and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
